Setting notifications in Nimble is important as it allows you to stay informed and empowered to take critical actions right away. Without notifications, important information can be missed or overlooked, which can lead to delays, missed deadlines, and potential loss of business opportunities. By setting notifications, you can ensure that you're always up-to-date with the latest information, optimizing your workflows, prioritizing tasks, and improving your overall productivity.

In this article, we'll cover how to set notifications and the types of notifications you can set up for your account.

Getting Started

To get started, visit Settings >> Notifications. You will see the following list of notification options:

Select the checkbox under the desired column to receive either an email, pop-up notification or browswer/desktop notification for any of the features listed.

Email Notifications:

You can setup email notifications for the following:

  • Daily Summary - which alerts you of all your activities and shares insights on important engagement opportunities across your network

  • Task Notifications - notifies you when people interact with your tasks

  • Product & Community Updates - helps you stay up to date on our latest features, community updates and shares tips on how to best use Nimble

Pop-up Notifications

Under the column "Popup Within Nimble App" you can setup notifications for the following:

  • Call Notifications - alerts you when users have interacted with your calls

  • Custom activities notifications - after creating custom activities, you will be notified when users interact with your activity

  • Message Tracking - when a recipient opens or clicks on your message sent with tracking enabled, you will be notified

  • Tasks Notification - notifies you when people interact with your tasks

  • Watched Emails Notification - Notified when a thread hasn't received a reply after a specified time period or when a new reply is recorded

  • Webforms notifications - when a response assignee changes or you receive a new lead, you will be notified

Browser/Desktop Notifications

You can setup browser/desktop notifications for the following:

  • Call Notifications - alerts you when users have interacted with your calls

  • Custom activities notifications - after creating custom activities, you will be notified when users interact with your activity

  • Message Tracking - when a recipient opens or clicks on your message sent with tracking enabled, you will be notified

  • Tasks Notification - notifies you when people interact with your tasks

  • Watched Emails Notification - Notified when a thread hasn't received a reply after a specified time period or when a new reply is recorded

  • Webforms notifications - when a response assignee changes or you receive a new lead, you will be notified

In-App Notification Stream

Sometimes, you may not have time to react to all notifications at once. Visit the Bell from any tab within the Nimble Web App to see a stream of all your most recent notifications.

Muting notifications

You may mute notifications for 24 hours, 48 hours, or permanently.

The "Mute" option will appear for in-app notifications as well as Gmail and desktop notifications.
