This is an overview of how messages are fetched and displayed in Nimble.
Remember, all accounts display messages privately by default. This means that none of your team members can see your messages unless you set your messages as shared. For more details, please see our Nimble Privacy Overview.
This article will cover the following:
- Email syncing, and how far back we are able to fetch messages from email accounts
- Facebook/Facebook Pages
- Twitter, and how far back we are able to sync Twitter notifications
Email (IMAP, Office 365, or Gmail)
All emails that have been synced to Nimble are displayed in the Messages tab and under the "Pending & History" tab of any Contacts that have received or are copied on an email.
How often are emails fetched?
It is normal for there to be a slight delay in emails displaying in Nimble. Emails are fetched to Nimble every 10-45 minutes, depending on your active Nimble session.
How far back are emails fetched?
When an email account is connected in Settings >> Networks & Imports, we fetch the last 90 days' worth of messages to Nimble, and then we continue to store all messages after that date.
At this time, we don’t offer a work around for fetching emails from farther back than 90 days. We may be open to change this policy in the future, however we don't currently have further details or an ETA to share.
As of April 2015, we are no longer able to sync Facebook messages to Nimble due to the shutdown for their API for CRM systems. However, posts made directly to your business Facebook Page will still be synced to your Signals tab! Please click here for more information.
As of June 2014, we are no longer able to sync LinkedIn messages to Nimble due to the shutdown of their API for CRM systems.
All DM's, RT's, and Mentions will appear in your Messages inbox in Nimble. All of these messages will also appear on contact records in Nimble.
How far back do you go for Twitter?
We display all notifications from Twitter!
