Nimble Business Card Scanner Overview
Tired of entering business card info manually? We get it - and we've got you covered. With the Nimble mobile app, you can now instantly scan any business card with your phone’s camera. Our smart scanner pulls key details like name, job title, company, email, phone number, and address - automatically creating a new contact in your contact database.
Nimble’s Business Card Scanner makes adding new contacts really fast and easy. Just point and snap - no more manual entry or typos.
How to get started
Step 1 – Download the Nimble app from Google Play.
Step 2 – Launch the Nimble Mobile App on your device.
Step 3 – Tap More in the bottom navigation bar.
Step 4 – Choose Business Card Scanner from the menu options.
This step will activate your phone camera. You can choose between the manual mode and the auto mode.
Step 5 - Place a business card on a flat, well-lit surface to take a picture and once you're happy with the saved details, select "Add" to save your contact.
And just like that, you’ve scanned a business card and created a new contact!
Nimble Pro tip:
Similar to scanning a check, make sure to align the card straight within the scanner frame for the best results.
Note: If you already have a photo of a business card on your phone, you can tap the photos button in the top right to select it from your gallery.
