Nimble's social profile matching feature automatically syncs relevant data about your contacts to their record. This is primarily based on the contact's social presence and whether their accounts are marked as private or public. It also help us to detect the contact's location when there is an email address present.

If a contact's social profiles are not automatically syncing, then you may add the social URL manually. To do this, visit a contact record and scroll down to the section "Is This [Contact's Name] too?"


Manually add URL to the contact record

In some cases, you may already be familiar with the contact's social profile and have a URL that you would like to add.

To do this, simply go to the contact's record, click "Edit" and paste the contact's social URL under "Social" tab.


Locating social URLs

Twitter Profile:

1. Go to the person or company's Twitter homepage.

Click the 3 dots then choose "Copy link to profile". Like so:

2. Copy and paste the Twitter ID into contact record Twitter field.

Facebook Profile:

1. Go to the person or company's Facebook homepage.

2. Copy and paste the URL link into Nimble's Facebook account field.

LinkedIn Profile:

1. Go to the person or company's LinkedIn profile.

2. Click "Contact Info" .

3. Copy and paste the profile link into Nimble's LinkedIn account field.

​ (Note: some profiles may not be added to Nimble due to privacy settings on individual accounts.)

Once you've copied and pasted the profile links, scroll down to the bottom of the contact record, and click on Save to finish.



 Using Nimble Prospector App to sync social data

Our Nimble Prospector App can be taken with you anywhere you are on the web to gather insights and add new contacts to your database.

When you are on a LinkedIn profile, open the Nimble Prospector App. Select "See contact info" and hover over the URL. We'll pull their contact record along with any new information that needs to be imported.
