Connecting Nimble to Third Party Apps

In April 2021, PieSync shut down their integration to all third party apps, including Nimble. Users who have signed up for the integration prior will be able to utilize the integration until April 21, 2022. This is an overview of how you can continue to have added value by using Nimble as your primary relationship manager.

While the integration is no longer available to new users, you will still be able to sync your contact data to Nimble using a CSV import and direct integrations. You'll also be able to create a bidirectional sync using API access and other third party integrators.
We know that we will continue to be an amazing source of insights and intelligence for your contacts, and we have listed ways to gain the most from Nimble below.


Import contacts using a CSV file

The quickest way to migrate your data to Nimble from a third party app is by using a CSV file. If your contacts are already in an Excel spreadsheet then you can export to a CSV file and take the steps in the following support article to bring over these contacts: Nimble Import Wizard

Sync contacts using third party integrators

Using a third party integrator such as Zapier will enable you to seamlessly integrate their 2-way contact syncing functionality with Nimble.

You can choose to sync all your contacts or just a subset of them (based on tags), one-way or bidirectionally. Though Zapier does have its own pricing structure, it is a great way to easily and continuously sync your data with Nimble.

Sync contacts using integration partners

Nimble integrates directly with several third party apps including MailChimp, DropBox and Wufoo.

Sync contacts using API access

Account Administrators may generate API keys to access account data over the Nimble API. This is available for subscribers of our Nimble Business Plan ($25/month).

API key acts as both a unique identifier and a secret token for authentication. The API key is for developers to build integrations between Nimble and other cloud based applications. It requires a level of technical knowledge to use, so should only be used by developers or engineers in your team.
