Nimble iPhone App


This is an overview of how to import your iPhone contacts over to Nimble from your Mac.


What you'll need: 

  1. An iCloud account
  2.  Address Book for Mac

Step 1. Make sure that contacts are synced to iCloud.
 
On your iPhone, go to Settings >> iCloud and make sure that Contacts is marked as On
 


 
Step 2. Open Address Book on your Mac.
 
On your Mac, open the Address Book program and select Address Book >> Preferences.
 
Under Accounts, select the plus (+) sign to add your iCloud account. Fill our the information to add your iCloud account to Nimble, and then your contacts will sync to Nimble.
 


 
 
Step 3. Export your Address Book contacts to vCard format.
 
Highlight all of your contacts in Address Book by selecting one contact, and then holding down Command+A (Highlight All).
 
While your contacts are highlighted, select File >> Export >> Export vCard and save your vCard file to your Mac.
 


 
Step 4. Open Nimble to Import your vCard contacts.
 
 1. In Nimble, go to Settings >> Networks & Imports
 2. Select vCard, and add your vCard file.
 3. Apply a tag(s) and select Import.
 
 


 
 
 
That's it! Your iPhone contacts will now be in Nimble!
 
 


 
Note: We do not offer live updating of contacts between the iPhone and Nimble over iCloud. You will need to do periodic updates from Address Book to Nimble to keep contacts up to date.
