Nimble enables you and your team to get notified of new chats and messages so you never miss an opportunity to connect back. For each individual chat or message within a chat thread, notifications can be received through the following channels:
Browser/Desktop - get real-time alerts in your web browser or desktop
Popup within Nimble App - see in-app popups while you're actively working in Nimble
Mobile - receive notifications on your Nimble mobile app
To enable notifications for your browser/desktop and/or in-app popups, simply go to Settings>> Notifications tab, and select one or both options according to your preference.
Once you’ve enabled notifications, Nimble will alert you each time a website visitor sends a new message depending on your selected preferences.
To receive mobile notifications, make sure you’ve installed the Nimble mobile app on your iPhone or Android device and enabled push notifications in the mobile app settings.
Nimble also allows you to choose which teammates to add to the web chat and receive notifications about new conversations. Once added, the Start Chat Notifications option next to each teammate is enabled by default. These teammates will be notified whenever a new conversation begins, ensuring everyone stays informed and ready to respond promptly.
Please note: The chat notification settings work together with your general account notification settings for chats, which determine where and how you receive those notifications.
Teammates selected in the web chat settings will only receive alerts if their own notification preferences are enabled in their account settings. Each user in the team account can customize their notification preferences in Settings>>Notifications within their account.
Also, to receive browser/desktop notifications or in-app popups within Nimble, you'll also need to enable notification permissions for Nimble in your browser settings.
