Nimble’s Email Builder for design templates makes it easy to create professional, engaging emails. Whether you’re sending newsletters, announcements, or outreach campaigns, design templates help you deliver messages that drive result. With the ability to organize templates into groups, you and your team can keep everything neatly structured and always have the right message at hand.

Getting Started

To get started with the Email Builder and design templates, take the following actions:

1. Go to the Outreach tab >> Email Templates.

2. Select Add Template in the top-right corner.

3. In the Use a Template window, choose Create Design Template from Scratch.

*** You can also choose one of Nimble’s ready-made designed templates and customize it to suit your needs. For this, simply click on Ready-made templates from the top and select a text template from the list on the left:

When you hover over a template, you’ll see options to either use it or preview it, helping you decide whether it’s the right fit for your needs:

Global Styles

On the left side of the Email Builder, you’ll find Global Styles and Modules sections.

In the Global Styles, you can set the overall look of your email template. The available appearance options include the following:

  • Font and font size – you can choose the font family and adjust the default text size.

  • Colors – you can define the text and link colors, the container background, the margin color displayed on wide screens, as well as the button and button text colors.

  • Width – you can control the overall width of your email layout.

  • Padding – you can adjust spacing inside the email container, with an option to apply the same padding across all sides for visual consistency and simplicity

  • Background Image – you can upload an image to use as the background of your template.

Modules

In the Modules section, drag and drop building blocks into the “Drag your module here” area to create your layout.

The modules include the following:

  • Container – a section that can hold other modules such as text, images, or buttons.

  • Image – insert images to enhance your content.

  • Text – add paragraphs or written content.

  • Button – add clickable calls-to-action (e.g., “Learn More,” “Shop Now”).

  • Header – create a header section for titles or branding.

  • Divider – separate sections with a horizontal line.

  • Spacer – add empty space between modules for better layout.

  • Unsubscribe – include an opt-out link to stay compliant.

  • Social – add social media icons that link to your profiles.

Please, note: Container is optional. You can use it to group modules like text, images, or buttons for easier styling, or add modules individually for simple layouts.

To copy or remove a module, simply click on it and choose an option from the top-right corner. You can also rearrange the module by clicking the drag-and-drop button from the top and moving it to your preferred spot:

Preview and Publish

As you build a template step by step, you can click Quick Preview in the top-right corner to see your progress. This lets you instantly see how each change affects your design, so you can improve your email as you go.

When you’re done, click the Preview button at the top to review your template on both desktop and mobile before sending, then publish it to start reaching out to your audience.
