This is an overview of how our "Click to Call" function works in Nimble. This feature supports all phone systems that accept "tel:" URLs from a web browser.

From a web browser, you may dial your contacts directly from the Nimble contact record by simply clicking on the phone number!

For the US standard 10-digit phone number, Nimble will insert hyphens for you. For all others, such as international numbers, you will need to manually input hyphens for them.

Although the "Phone" field will accept many types of formats, the best way to enter your phone numbers to be able to place calls through our "Click to Call" feature would be +(country code) then the phone number, without spaces. An example for US numbers would be +1 3105555555

Getting Started:

1. Go to a contact record with a phone number, and select a call option from the phone drop-down icon. If there's only 1 available number, then the drop-down icon will not appear and you can simply select the number.

2. After you select an option, a dialogue box will appear with a request to launch the selected app!

Note: Phone calls will not register under the "Last Contacted" field on a contact record. Phone calls will also not update the "Stay in Touch" reminder. However, you can log the call and based on your call resolution the Last Contacted date will update. Learn more here: Nimble Call Logging Feature
