Today’s mobile-driven world is transforming how we work and how we do business. Mobile workflows are the key to making sure your processes stay flexible and productive in a rapidly changing landscape.

Workflows allow you to successfully track your leads and contacts as they move through the different stages of your business process which ensures results-oriented collaboration, team efficiency, and customer satisfaction. They keep your business agile and your operations running according to a plan.

To learn more about Workflows, take a look at the following support article:

By leveraging mobile workflows, you can ensure optimal performance in all the areas of your business, from customer support to real estate to finances.

How it works

Using workflows on mobile is easy! You'll first need to start by creating a few workflows from the platform on a browser. To do this, log into Nimble from a browser and go to the Workflows tab. You'll then be able to create workflows.

You'll also need to download our app to your Android or iPhone.

On mobile, you'll see these workflows in the Workflow tab and it will display in Board view.

The workflow board view is a visual representation of the stages of your business processes. It will show all of the contacts in each stage and enable you to drag them from one stage to the next. You'll be able to add new and existing contacts/companies to a workflow, edit card fields, apply filters and close a contact as successful or unsuccessful.

Adding Contacts to a Workflow

Once you have selected the workflow you wish to use, you can then begin to add contacts to the workflow board view. This can be done by tapping the “+” button that appears at the top of each stage and selecting from your existing contacts. You can also add new contacts.

Viewing a Contact Record

Now that the contact is added to the workflow you can take certain actions such as viewing the full contact record. To do this, double-tap the contact. This will open up the contact's record where you can view their information and make any changes you may need.

This may include editing any data fields such as phone numbers, email addresses, or websites. You can also schedule or log activities such as calls, tasks, and events.

Moving Contacts Between Stages

If you need to move a contact from one stage to the next, you can do this quickly and easily by dragging the contact from one stage to the next. You can also click the 3 dots on the contact card and then choose Move to Stage", you can then choose a stage to advance the contact.

If automation has been set up through the web browser then it will be triggered. You can learn more about Workflow Automation here:

Using Filters

The filtering options in your workflow board view allow you to narrow down the list of contacts to find the contact you are looking for. You can filter by stage, name, assigned to, and tags.

Just click the filter icon in the top right-hand corner.

Exiting Successful and Unsuccessful Deals

When a contact exits a pipeline as either successful or unsuccessful, you can mark this in the workflow board view by clicking the 3 dots on the contact card and choosing either "Exit Successful" or "Exit Unsuccessful". You can also choose to move the contact to a different stage or remove it from the workflow.

We hope this article has helped you to understand how to use the workflow board view in your mobile device. With practice, you'll be able to track contacts through the pipeline with ease.
