Nimble's new Email Sequence feature has been designed to enhance your communication strategy by streamlining interactions with your audience. Whether you're nurturing leads, reconnecting with clients, or simply keeping in touch, adding contacts to your email sequence ensures that your communications are timely and targeted.

Getting Started
Contacts can be added to sequences in various ways, and they can be part of multiple sequences simultaneously.
If you have not yet set up an Email Sequence, then you'll want to first start here: Nimble's Email Sequence Feature
Once this is done, you can send contacts to your Email Sequence.
Adding Contacts within the Sequence
To add contacts from within your Email Sequence, click "Add Contact" at the top. You'll then have the option to search for existing Nimble contacts in your Nimble database.
Nimble will show the person's name, job title, company, and a dropdown list of existing email addresses from their contact record. Simply click the dropdown list to select the email address you want to use for the communication.
You can select multiple contacts at a time and when ready, click "Add Selected Contacts".
The contacts will then be added to the first step in your email sequence.
Adding Contacts From the Contact Record
To add contacts to an email sequence from the contact record, navigate to the record of your choice and select the "Sequences" tab.
From there, click the "Add to Sequence" button, where you can choose the email address you'd like to communicate with and select the appropriate sequence for the contact.
The contact will be immediately added to the sequence and you'll be able to track the contact's progress in the Sequences tab of their contact record.
We'll also maintain a history of the sequences your contact has been involved in. This history will include whether the contact's participation was successful or unsuccessful, the exit date, and the stages of the sequence the contact progressed through.
You'll also see Current Sequences on the left-hand side of the contact record.
Adding Contacts In Bulk
Whether you are working with a tagged or segmented group, you can send the list of contacts to your email sequence.
Simply navigate to your Contacts tab, select the desired group of contacts, and under "Actions," choose "Add to Email Sequences." From there, select the sequence you'd like to add them to.
The contacts will be immediately added to your sequence.
Other Ways To Add Contacts
Add from a Workflow and Deals
To add contacts from a workflow or deal, navigate to the List view and click on the contact you wish to add. A widget will appear. From there, click the dropdown list at the top, select "Sequences," and then click "Add to Sequences."
Adding From a Single or Group Message
Navigate to your Message tab and choose an email. On the right side, you'll see a list of contacts associated with the email. If the contact isn't already in your Nimble database, add them. Once added, click on the contact to open the widget. From there, you can easily add the contact to your sequence.

Nimble Prospector App
The Nimble Prospector App enables you to take Nimble everywhere you work including your Inbox, Facebook, LinkedIn, and so on. Nimble Prospector App for Google Chrome
You can easily add contacts by opening the Prospector App, choosing Sequences from the dropdown list then clicking "Add to Sequence."
Manual Contact Exit
Manually exiting a contact from a sequence is essential for respecting preferences and maintaining relevance in communication. It allows users to promptly honor opt-out requests and adjust messaging based on changes in a contact's status or feedback received.
Nimble enables you to exit a contact from a sequence prematurely, providing flexibility and control over your communication strategy.
To exit a contact prematurely from a sequence, simply navigate to your Sequence tab and select the desired sequence. From the Active list, choose the contact you wish to exit by selecting the checkbox next to their name. Then, click "Exit Contacts" at the top and choose whether to mark their exit as successful or unsuccessful.
