As a Nimble account owner, you can use MCP Admin Controls to manage your AI app connections, keep track of their activity, choose which team members can use MCP, and set permissions for what AI apps can do with your CRM data.
Accessing MCP Admin Controls
To manage MCP connections and permissions, navigate to Settings >> MCP Admin Controls in your Nimble account.
You'll see three tabs that help you manage and monitor AI assistant integrations:
Connected Apps - View all AI assistants connected to your Nimble account and manage existing connections.
Activity Log - Track actions performed through connected AI assistants and review the records involved.
Settings - Control who can connect AI assistants to Nimble and what actions they're allowed to perform.
Let's explore each in more detail!
Connected Apps
The Connected Apps tab gives you an overview of all AI assistants connected to your Nimble account. Here, you can see which team members have connected AI applications and manage their connections.
For each connection, you'll find the following details:
User - the team member who connected the AI assistant.
AI App - the name of the connected AI assistant, such as Claude.
Connected - when the connection was established.
Last Refreshed - when the connection was last refreshed.
Actions - the option to disconnect the AI assistant.
To revoke an AI assistant's access to Nimble, simply locate the connection and click Disconnect on the right.
Activity Log
The Activity Log helps you keep track of actions performed in Nimble through connected AI assistants. You can see what changes were made, which team members initiated them, and whether the actions were completed successfully.
Each activity entry includes the following details:
When - the date and time the action was performed.
User - the team member whose AI assistant performed the action.
AI App - the AI assistant used, such as Claude.
Action - the operation performed, such as creating a contact, adding a note, or creating a task.
Records - the number of records associated with the action. Click the record count to view the related records.
Status - the status of the action.
To find specific activities, click Filters and narrow down the results by:
User - View activities associated with a particular team member.
AI App - View activities performed through a specific AI assistant.
You can also click Export CSV to download the activity log for further review or recordkeeping.
