The Messaging Compose Form in Nimble has undergone a transformation! The all-new, revamped Messaging Compose Form delivers a fresh and intuitive experience, simplifying the complex process of writing and sending emails. With a streamlined design and more customizable formatting options, you can enjoy all of the features you loved before with some added additions that make it easier than ever to personalize your emails according to your preferences.

Our new Compose Form is a step towards a more straightforward, efficient, and personalized email communication experience.

Our revamped Messaging Compose Form offers a wide range of new features, including the ability to insert a signature anywhere in the body of an email, change font colors, highlight text with a background color, format "Quote Blocks", undo and redo an edit, and so much more.

These enhancements make the process of writing and sending emails less cluttered and more organized, as all the commands are now consolidated in a single searchable dropdown list.

From single and group messages to the Prospector App and the contact record, this change has been applied to all Messaging Compose Forms.

Table Of Contents:

Editor Commands

To search for commands, you can either scroll or use the shortcut 'command (or control) + /' and then type the name of what you are looking for such as templates, signature, formatting, merge tags, and more.

In the dropdown list, you'll see the following:

  • Insert Template - All of your existing templates will be here. Pick a template saved by you or your teammates

  • Save as Template - Save what you are writing as a new template

  • Insert Signature - Quickly insert your signature into the body of your email

  • Add Merge Tag in body - Insert a merge tag to the body of your email

  • Add link - Include a hyperlink

  • Font Family - Choose a font

  • Font Size - Choose your font size

  • Text Color - Choose the color for your text

  • Background Color - Highlight text with a background color

  • Alignment - Align your text to the left, center, or right

  • Indent - Indent your text

  • Quote Block - Put text in blocks of quotes

  • Clear Formatting - Clear all formatting. Erases the formatting but not the text

  • Show Source Code - View the underlying HTML code used to create the email

Quick font editing options

For quick access to editing your fonts, you can use options outside of the Edit Commands.

One new option is the ability to undo and redo an edit. You will also see the 3 dots which will help with formatting your message.

Composing a Message

Messages can be composed on the contact and deal record, in the Message and Group Message tabs, and the Prospector App.

When composing your message you'll see the option to choose which account to send the message from. This is great if you have multiple email accounts connected.

You can add your recipients in the To, CC, and/or BCC fields and add a merge tag to your subject line.

You can start composing your message and anything you create can be saved as a saved template. Just choose Save as Template from "Editor Command". You'll then be able to create a name for your template and save it. This template will be available for use under "Insert Template".

When you're ready to send your message, click "Send".

Setting Reminders

At the bottom, you'll see the option to receive a notification reminding you to follow up on the sent message. You can set the amount of days to receive the notification. Full steps can be found here: Nimble's Email Reminder Feature

Tracking the Message

Nimble enables you to track messages for opens and clicks. By default, all messages are tracked but you can disable this option by toggling the switch to the left.
